Counselling & Psychotherapy

Therapy provides a supportive space and helps you:

· Express your feelings, concerns and thoughts freely.

· Learn more about how you feel and how you can express and manage your feelings.

· Explore and gain insight and awareness around past experiences, how they have shaped you, how they affect you in the present and how you may begin to heal.

· Make connections and see patterns in your ways of being, behaving and relating to others.

· Let go of out-dated ideas of yourself and behaviours that no longer serve you.

· Understand what brings you joy, inspiration and fulfilment as well as what hurts and harms you.

· Build more satisfying relationships.

· Feel more confident in yourself, build greater self-respect and self-compassion.

· Uncover ways of being and make decisions that support your authentic self vs what others expect from you.

· Identify and set your own goals and take steps towards reaching them.

· Connect or reconnect with people you care about.

· Make healthier choices for your mind and body.

· Face your fears and discover your strengths and potential.

· Work to overcome the obstacles that are holding you back so you can become the person you were meant to be.

What will sessions be like?

We will mainly work together through talking and listening, but I may also include or suggest:

  • guided meditation / visualisations,
  • movement,
  • drawing and journalling.

You are also free to bring or include photographs, images, music or writing that is meaningful for you.


I work with individual adults (18 and over) face to face in Southampton and online via Zoom.

I work both short-term (a block of 6-20) sessions to address a particular issue or concern or support you through a difficult time (counselling), or on a longer term, open-ended basis, which involves a deeper exploration of your life and self (psychotherapy).

Sessions take place weekly at a regular time and last an hour.

Counselling and Psychotherapy Fee: £75 per session.

* If you would like to work with me but are unable to afford full fees, please get in touch as I am able to offer a limited number of lower cost spaces.

At the end of our initial conversation, we can book to meet again at a mutually convenient time, you can take some time to think it over or we may decide not to proceed. I will do my best to signpost onwards if necessary.
